“Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others.”
Are you the type of person who argues your way to victory when you know you are right?
Or do you try to explain your side of the conversation, and then you truly listen to the other person’s side of the conversation so you can understand where s/he is coming from?
Carrying a conversation by focusing on the other person’s situation will make you wiser! It also saves a lot of time, since you get to the bottom-line more faster. It also saves both of you from a lot of hurt. It also saves both of you from losing a lot of energy.
More than being “right”, God desires for us to be listeners, learners of the other person’s character, helpers, compassionate, unselfish. When we decide to be who God wants us to be, God is surely for you and nothing can stand against you and God! Amen.
