The “FIGHT” God reminded me of this 2014 was the “fight to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ.”

Every morning, I have to remind myself that Jesus has already made me the “righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)” and “nothing can stop God from loving me (Romans 8:39: nothing can separate us from God’s love)”, thus I do not need to run away from God when I sin, but instead run towards Him. When you see God as a loving father, always waiting for you to go back to Him so He can be with you again even though He knows you did a bad thing, it naturally makes you run towards Him, just like the story of the “Prodigal Son.”

I need to remind myself that “Jesus became poor so that through His poverty I would become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9)”, thus when I fail in my business deals, I do not need to dwell in self-pity or feel like a failure, or think that there is no more future for me, for I know God has a great prosperity and richness in store for me.

“Surely Jesus took up all my sicknesses and bore my diseases (Matthew 8:17)”, thus I do not need to feel death and hopeless when sickness comes to my body, or fear when it is the season of flu or tigdas, or dengue.  “By Jesus’ stripes I was healed (1 Peter 2:24)” gives me peace of mind that no sickness or disease can touch nor harm me because of Jesus’ finished work on the whipping pole.

I remind myself that “God’s favor rests on me” and that “God is with me, He will never leave me or forsake me”, especially during times I need to do presentations, or to do trainings, or to meet with high-ranking officials, or even just as simple as asking for a great parking spot in the mall.

God says that He will never be angry at me again in Isaiah 54:9.  Thus I do not need to think that God is angry and punishing me whenever storms destroy my property, or when bad things suddenly happen to me.  I just know that God loves me so much that He will surely make me come out of the ruins a better person and with more prosperity, just like in the book of Job.

“God is just (2 Thessalonians 1:6)” and he will never allow injustices to go unfixed in my life.  God also said He will make sure I get back double for my troubles (Isaiah 61:7, Zechariah 9:12).  Thus whenever people cheat me, or steal from me, I do not need to get angry and stressed on planning how to get back at them.  I know God will make sure justice prevails plus I get back double of what was taken from me. 🙂

There are a lot more GREAT blessings God has already provided to me.  It is all written already in the Bible.  All of these I have because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross! It just because of God’s unconditional love!

Thank you God for loving me with an everlasting love! Thank you God for making me realize that “believing the right way” is the best way to do “spiritual warfare”.  It automatically makes me love you more, and also automatically makes me live according to your will.  Thank you for making Christianity simple through the finished work of Jesus Christ.  I pray everyone who reads this would have this same realization and start “believing right” to “live right,” amen. 🙂
